Mainnet network congestion has subsided. The third-party on-chain activity that drove elevated gas fees through mid-to-late July has wound down, network fees have returned to below pre-congestion levels, and on-chain confirmations are completing normally. Provider deal scores are recovering accordingly.

Customer data was never affected: uploads stored successfully and retrievals operated normally throughout.

We are continuing to monitor and will open a new incident if conditions change. Detailed technical history: https://github.com/FilOzone/filecoin-services/issues/546

Filecoin mainnet has experienced sustained network congestion since mid-July, driven by unusually heavy third-party on-chain activity. During busy periods, on-chain confirmations take longer than our monitoring windows allow, so provider dashboards may show reduced deal success scores.

Customer data is not affected: uploads are storing successfully, retrievals are operating normally, and no data has been lost. The reduced scores reflect slow on-chain confirmation, not failed storage.

Storage providers do not need to take any action. We are continuing to track network conditions and are improving our monitoring to report delayed-but-successful operations accurately. Detailed technical updates are being tracked at https://github.com/FilOzone/filecoin-services/issues/546. We will post further updates here as conditions change.

Some Filecoin Onchain Cloud storage providers are currently showing degraded performance on our monitoring dashboards (e.g., dealbot deal success rates). Data is being stored successfully though, but with delay. This issue is being tracked in https://github.com/FilOzone/filecoin-services/issues/546.
